Professional Services

Tēnā koe, I’m Andrew Frost.

Ko Ingarangi te whakapaparanga mai, ko North Yorkshire te whenua tupu.  Engari, ko Ōtautahi, ko Waitaha te kāinga.  He kaitiakitanga tangata te mahi.

I bring extensive experience in social work and academic practice, with a diverse background that includes teaching, residential social work, prison-based programs, group therapy and more. As an academic, I have taught and researched intensively in professional supervision, group work theory, family violence, sexual violence and offender rehabilitation.

I have a heartfelt commitment to supporting those in people-serving professions and offer expertise in professional supervision, training, and consultancy. My approach is about promoting your professional growth by enhancing what you already bring to your work. Through careful and sensitive reflection, I help open up new possibilities for your practice.

My Services

  • While my background and training are primarily in social work, I regard supervision as an interprofessional discipline.  As well as social workers, I have supervised those in nursing, counselling, and education, both individually and in a group setting.

  • I offer training across a range of competencies, including supervision, group work, communication and interventions.

  • My consultancy practice is about advisory services around knowledge, skills, and experience in the people-serving sector.

  • I have known Andrew and watched him grow his practice over the past 25 years. He is a thoughtful, well read, and engaging facilitator. His sense of curiosity makes his practice of coaching, training, and supervision of a high standard.
